Violation of this policy may result in immediate account suspension without refund and, where applicable, referral to relevant legal authorities.
Usage is measured in minutes of source content processed per calendar month. Unused minutes do not carry forward. Plan limits reset on the 1st of each calendar month. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.
All payments are processed securely through our licensed payment processing partner. By subscribing you authorise us to charge the applicable fee to your payment method on a recurring monthly basis. All prices are displayed inclusive of applicable taxes. We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days advance notice to existing subscribers.
All technology, algorithms, designs, code, brand assets, and content comprising our platform are the exclusive intellectual property of TakeShorts AI and its owner Muhammad Ashraf. Our proprietary systems and processes are trade secrets protected under applicable law. Unauthorised copying, reverse engineering, or distribution is strictly prohibited.
You retain complete ownership of the original content you submit and the output generated from your content. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive, temporary licence to process your submitted content solely and exclusively for the purpose of generating your requested output. This licence terminates automatically when processing is complete and files are deleted.
You are solely and entirely responsible for ensuring you hold all necessary rights, licences, and permissions for any content you process through our platform. We do not and cannot verify copyright ownership. Applicable laws and content licensing requirements remain entirely your responsibility.
We target high monthly uptime and continuously invest in platform reliability. However, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service due to scheduled maintenance, infrastructure updates, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control. In the event of extended service unavailability exceeding 72 consecutive hours, affected paid subscribers will receive a pro-rated account credit.
Our platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, regarding the platform's fitness for a particular purpose, the quality of output, or the performance of generated content. Results may vary and are not guaranteed to meet any specific standard.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total cumulative liability to you for any cause shall not exceed the total fees you paid in the three months preceding the claim. Under no circumstances shall we be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages including but not limited to lost profits, lost data, or business interruption.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold us harmless from and against any claims, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from: (a) your violation of these Terms; (b) your use of the platform; (c) content you submit or generate; or (d) your infringement of any third-party rights.
Either party may terminate at any time. You may cancel your subscription as described in our Refund Policy. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to access the platform ceases immediately and your data will be handled per our Privacy Policy retention schedule.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. We encourage resolution of any disputes through direct communication — please contact us first and we will make every effort to resolve the matter fairly. Where legal proceedings become necessary, the competent courts of Faisalabad, Punjab, Pakistan shall have jurisdiction. For international users, we remain committed to good-faith resolution.
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force. Our failure to enforce any right or provision does not constitute a waiver. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the platform and supersede all prior agreements.
We may update these Terms periodically. Material changes will be communicated by email at least 14 days before taking effect. Your continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. You may review the current Terms at any time at takeshorts.com/terms.html.
